Three children, an MBA and a successful career

In 2013 I found out I was pregnant with my first child. I didn't know much about children then so I started looking forward to my year long 'holiday' of maternity leave. I have always been extremely career-oriented and wanted to do something that would keep my career on track, so I signed up to do an MBA.

Once I had my baby, I quickly understood that maternity leave isn't a holiday (hold the front page) and that I had my hands full with my gorgeous new baby. However, I'm nothing if not stubborn, so I was determined to stick with my plan as I was looking forward to learning again.

2015 and 2016 I had two more babies (returning to work in-between both) and successfully completed all the learning modules of the MBA.

I now have three beautiful babies and I am just starting my dissertation. I aim to have this completed by the time I return to work.

Doing my MBA while having three babies hasn't always been easy (actually I don't think it's ever been easy), but nothing worth having ever is. Now when I return to work, I'll have a degree and a family. Perfect.
