Clare Gillon started a MA Strategic Marketing course with Arden University after transferring from studying a BA degree with a different university which she felt wasn’t challenging enough for her.
"I chose to transfer to Arden as I did not feel the course I was doing was providing me the direction I wanted to continue in. I knew I wanted to continue with a degree but wanted the content to be beneficial. I enjoyed doing my BA and did achieve high marks, but I felt I wanted to achieve more. I could not have aimed or set any higher a goal than doing my Master's Degree!
I came across Arden's details and made an enquiry. The admissions team from the onset took the time to talk through my options, my previous learning, qualifications,career etc. and explained the option of the MA in Strategic Marketing, I was immediately interested by the course content it fitted perfectly with my goals, and I was keen to get started.
I have worked as a Graphic Designer for over 18 years, I have my own company. The MA is perfect to add to my experience, skills, and knowledge in order for me to take the business to the next level. I believe in continuous development and progress. And I promised my mum I would get my cap and gown, it will be the proudest day of her life!
Distance learning is great and it is a flexible way to learn. It does take a little adjusting to getting to know your way around the learning process, but with time management and the desire to progress it does not take long to adjust.
The staff and the support along the way has been amazing. Any questions or enquiries are answered. I cannot thank the admissions team enough for her part in advising and supporting me through this MA. It is a big step to make and having the support through the whole process really helped.
The course is affordable and great value for money. I will not only achieve my MA but also a Diploma from the CIM, so 2 qualifications with this degree.
I am really enjoying the MA I have already learnt a lot from the modules I have completed. I intend to use what I have learnt and continue to learn to enhance the skills and services I offer in my work as a Graphic Designer. I will be combining my experience and knowledge of graphic design & marketing services to my clients.
